Curtain Raiser programme for Northeast Health Fest

The Northeast Health Festival 2023 curtain raiser programme has been successfully organised by Redlemon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The Programme started with the Guwahati 5Km Run from War memorial Dighalipukhuri to GMC Auditorium where cadets from Indian Army , NCC and Indian Navy and local runners participated .

The Programme started with the inaugural Seminar which was chaired by Dr. Arup Kumar Misra , Chairman Pollution Control Board, Govt.of Assam and a host of eminent personalities from different industries and corporates who joined online as well from different parts of India .

Mr. Pankaj Gogoi, Founder of Redlemon Group shared the mission and vision of Redlemon Foundation and how the story of Redlemon Foundation which started during his stay in Assam House Mumbai ,where he had interacted with Cancer patients and how difficult was then for people to visit Mumbai from Assam and Northeast India back in 2006-2009 and the difficulties people faced during their treatment there in Mumbai .

He also shared about the Hospital initiatives undertaken by Govt. of Assam and how it will help in the overall healthcare system in Northeast India under the leadership of Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma , Govt. of Assam . He elaborated that HealthFest has been started to develop the Healthcare index of the Northeastern Region while working on medical tourism as one of the problem statements of the Northeast Startup Festival 2023.

Dr. Mishra spoke about the various pollution related aspects of how Pollution control board is working in minimising hazard to the environment and also the medical wastes that needs to be undertaken very seriously on all aspects and under strict surveillance. The Air pollution and water pollution needs to be upgraded with technology and entrepreneurs should come up with various solutions to solve some of these problem statements.

Mr. Ramesh Narayan, Pranic Healing from GMCHK demonstrated real healing and also healed many participants in person and online . Ms. Ankita Borthakur , AYUSH , AIIMS Guwahati displayed the essence of Yoga and Mental Health, how to manage trauma and come back to life Yoga practices in her presentation . Mr. Debanjan Medhi , showcased how Pranic Healing center has been set up and how people are getting benefited in Guwahati .

Mr. Debajit Kalita, a social worker from Chaygaon , Assam who shared how the initiative can be taken to rural areas and has collaborated to work in the development this Healthfest initiatives. Dr. Angshuman Deka , Retina Eye Care Foundation shared about the different visibility initiatives and tech based innovations adopted in the region .

The initiative has been participated by various personalities led and branded by Miss Maxina Paonam of Manipur through discussion with the HealthFest Team and other youth influencers and sports personalities of Assam who have participated to bring this initiative after an effort of 6months .

The programme concluded with a cultural evening by the band PSPN and a festival mood creation by popular rock band -SKD

The programme has been supported by Assam Startup, Govt. of Assam, Longspan Structures Pvt. Ltd, Pollution Control Board, Govt. of Assam and Northeast Small Finance Bank and among many other organisations who pledged to be part of this long initiative.
