Condemned unabated illegal taxation by various Naga Political Groups

I, Mr Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu on behalf of the party legislators and on party's behalf expressed its deepest concern and condemned over the unabated/illegal taxation/extortion particularly to the business community by the various Naga Political Groups/anti-social elements.

The unabated/illegal taxation on the business community is directly affecting the Naga public and the consequence is paid by the general public.

The NPF party fully understands the move initiated by the business community to down their shutter to put forth their grievances but that directly affects the general public day-to-day life to a great extent.

Therefore, the party urged the Naga Political Groups to strictly monitor any kinds of anti-social activities that are hampering the growth of our civilized Naga society and wreaking havoc in the society.

The NPF also appreciated the stand and the directives of the State Government issued to tackle all forms of extortion/illegal taxation towards the business community and have requested the business community to adhere to the directives given by the Government authority.

The NPF urged upon the general public and the business community to give its fullest cooperation and support to the Government agencies to put an end to the extortion/illegal taxation culture from our land and has requested the public and the business community to come forward to report/file FIR for any such illegal activities that are taking place.

The party also appreciated the law enforcing agency of the state government for taking up various means to tackle extortion/illegal taxation and had urged upon the Judiciary to cooperate and support the State Government and the suffering Naga public and deliver justice for the prosperity of the Naga people.
