BJP Manipur meets with Governor on drug trafficking situation

The four Members Mahila delegate of State Mahila Morcha, BJP, Manipur Pradesh namely Smt. A. Sarda Devi, National VP, Mahila Morcha, Smt. N. Ibemcha Devi, President, Mahila Morcha, Manipur, Smt. O. Dayabati Devi, Gen. Secy, Mahila Morcha Manipur and Smt. M. Bijaya Devi, Secy. Mahila Morcha Manipur were meeting with the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur at 11:30 AM at Raj Bhawan, Imphal and discussed about half and hour & pressurised the following points

- The BJP Mahila Morcha, Manipur are very much concern of the prevailing situation of Drug Mafia particularly the last two incidents of huge consignment of illegal drug seized from Imphal Airport and Pallel and they pursue the Hon’ble Governor to take befitting action without further delay to booked all the culprits who were involved in the last two unfortunate incident in the State. The delegate pressurise the Governor to hand over the above two cases to the Narcotic Control Bureau of India so that a free and fair independent enquiry may be held and befitting punishment be given to those culprits. So that such crime and practices shall not be occurs in future in the soil of Manipur.

- Further, the delegate highlight the talents of the youths of Manipur particularly in Sports and feared about drug trafficking practises in the State which may cause harmful to the talented youths of Manipur.

- The drug are the biggest enemy of the upcoming youths so, it should be taken up very seriously.

- The Hon’ble Governor admitted the above demands and listen patiently and show positive response on the above demand and he informed the delegate he already taken up the matters with all concerned authority seriously and he assured that he will do all the needful further action from his level.

Further, it is a pleasure of BJP, Manipur Pradesh that Shri Amrik Singh Pahwa (62), NCC (C) certificate holder and an Eminent Social Worker of Manipur, who is residing at Thangal Bazar, Imphal. Who is also a known public figure for his service toward the upliftment of social and communal harmony among the different communities of Manipur since many years. He was formally joining BJP, Manipur Pradesh today at 10:30 AM along with Shri Binod Sethi (53), a prominent Businessman and Social Worker also residing at Thangal Bazar, Imphal. Their membership have been approved by our State President, Shri Th. Chaoba Singh at the time of their joining.

It is hope that, such public figure and eminent persons are joining in BJP, Manipur Pradesh will certainly emerge the BJP, Manipur Pradesh with a bright Political future in Manipur as well as in the North East States and many more public figure and eminent persons are likely to join BJP, Manipur Pradesh in the nearest future.
