Muscle, music and moves mark the second day of X Jam NE India Tour 2012 at Bheigyachandra Open Air Amphitheatre, Palace Compound on 23rd June. Energetic teens gave a water tight entertainment to the crowded audience. The X Jam event began in the dusky hour of 5 pm with audience picking up to good numbers despite predictable rain bearing clouds in the sky.

B Boying competition both individual and team, Video Game Finale from day 1, BMX competition, BMX stunt show, Linear Skates stunt, Manipur Martial Art performance, Live music performance by eminent rock bands like Dirty Strikes, In Excel, Camp with FM were some of the energy sequence in the never say die spirit performance by the participants in the 2nd day of X Jam NE India Tour 2012.

Four motor cycle mosaic by muds and dust with the beaming front light rolled inside the Amphitheatre from the side door and everyone gave a clapping welcome. “I came here to witness the talents of Manipur and we have come all the way from Shillong in our motorcycles. We stop at Kohima as there was a bandh in Manipur“audience address of the Meghalaya Extreme sports team leader Daniel to the already amazed crowds of the Spectacular X Jam events on 23rd June Night.

Zorinkima and Miller represented Mizoram in B Boying and Flatland BMX on the second day of X Jam.

B Boying one on one battle live on stage with punctuating notes “Judges who is the winner” in between every knock outs and a quick pick competitor for other competitors sketches the energy flow to a compact event.”

B Boying has four discipline and we are educated about the art form. We spend a lot of time learning. I learn from Bboy Gojao aka Nickson Sharma from Nagamapal who started BBoying since 2005and trained under Havakoro Crew United States and who has met up with Gamblerz Crew South Korea, Last For One Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Japanese B Girls B Boy had guided us” says one of the top three finalists. “ I have a lot of dream in bringing up B Boying in Manipur “ says another finalists reading in 9th Standard. “ B Boying keeps us fit and healthy “ remarks the third finalists.

B Boying is spectacular in the sense of quick dance mode choreography. It matters how you move in 40 seconds for a single round with three rounds for each knock out game.

Battle for three B Boyers and Crew Battle in group was also held on the second X Jam NE India Tour 2012.Hands on the floor legs in the air, all but to the tune of fast rhythmic music making every possible move left the audience glued to the ambience stage.I hardly realise that I was sitting on a concrete sit for the last five hours exposed to the energy sequence of the extreme sports extravaganza.

An exhibit from International Manipur Martial Arts performers who are in their teens gave an indigenous chillthat was when the audience imaged the beauty of positioning and repositioning of human body in different forms without losing balanceinsynchronised music.

BMX stunt from 3 renowned riders Gutter Mayanglambam ,Ruben Wahengbam and roneesh Thangjam ,impressed the crowd in flamboyant moods. Earlier Riders could be seen playing with their toys within the Amphitheatre complex waiting for their turns. Around 15 competitors who have make it to the finals from Day 1 Screening at Model Club Singjamei had a round of testifying feat before three jury on the 2nd Day of X Jam NE India tour 2012.

Quarter Pipe,Jump Box, Fun Box, and Grind Box were some of the exhibits the competitors work on. The stage was not an enough space for young beginners who tried to bring out their best as they try to balance their moves. Classical turns from three professional BMX riders kept BMX show alive with few exhibiting to classical performance.

The third Day is scheduled at Classic Hotel where Curves and Shade’s METROPOLIS rendezvous of arts photography & Music along with distribution of prizes will follow. Curves & Shades Metropolis for the first time collaborated with X-Jam to bring, in Imphal, their on-going tour showcasing art, photography, painting and music from the region and abroad.
