Note from the Developer:

To help our fellow Manipuri's to receive news information more easily and in a fast pace we have developed a simple android mobile application which list down the news websites in Manipur. All the contents are from the original news websites and the copyright and the accuracy of the content are with the news site owners(providers).

The application merely links to the original news sites which increases the reach ability of the news sites. In addition we have a notification system which picks up some of the headlines and sends a notification to the user for breaking news / headlines / current affair information. Again on this we mention the source and the courtesy as the original news sites.

We would like the people of Manipur all over the globe to be informed of the happening of their motherland and towards this approach we have developed this application.

Manipur News Corner lists all the manipuri news sites and can set one as default so that the particular news site can be read every time the app launches.In addition to it the app can show the headlines as a single image or few text sentences for each new sites and manipuri news papers. It can also push notification for manipuri breaking news and informative articles. All the contents from the news sites are maintained by the site owners and the app merely shows descriptive information from those.
