In the Power Circuit: Is there any a good power?

WELL .......umm, "The powerful minister of power, promising to empower the power system of state's electric-power, has yet to be powered more.

Powered though through his words, there's still a long power-break even in a power-day, a day of power-shed has no power, and the vision of 24-hrs electric-power supply has only remains as a word of powers point of the power-failure".

Ah...wokay! This is just a sound-clashing dialogue-shot of my D-Film called '21st idiots!' Which, I thought of producing soon not in the near future, due to producer busyness in his business.

The concept note was developed from seeing the existing power & its balance situation of the state, in all spheres. Well, you know, people would be powerless, if the existing power is a corrupt power. Well, without social-power our society would become dysfunctional. And also, for me in absence of power my day's has become seemingly dysfunctional, too. Genuinely, we just need it, for maintaining status qua.

Well, power has become a crux to empower our self and others, misused power or corrupt-power means that, that power won't do any good for people. And, see...... due to lack of power all of our household gizmos & creature comforts that use to yields satisfaction are not able to utilized at its optimum level. So, neither the TV nor the Fan or the Freezer could be use at max., due to power-lack. Indeed I'm talking about the needs of the power...... to empower ourselves; to change, to build, to renovate, to voice, to press & push to bright ...... and, the silent majority won't longer be the silent majority, if there's power.

So, in the search of power to fulfill all my emotional, functional, rational and social need; what I found & opted was Radio. As, we know, it's a powerful medium, a powerful means of transferring knowledge and information. And, a radio-receiver/set doesn't need electric-power, unlike TV or CCTV for its operation (Close Circuit TV). So in order to fulfill the power needs, I started listening to Radio.

Indeed, it has made me to satisfy some of my needs, in terms of information, social-correlation & linkages, socialization, entertainment etc. And, what I found was, Radio is not an Idiot box.

So, I became, an active listener of Radio. And, within a short period of time, she became completely dearest to me, and has character herself as my good companion, my educator, my entertainer, my informant and what not?? And, I have a great respect for her, now. After understating her need-satisfying potential and aptitudes, I was thinking how I can divvy-up the radio's benefits to empower our people.

So, ultimately what welcomes by my mind was that, our govt. should innovate a scheme for providing free radio-set to underprivileged class, and should initiate a new provision to avail radio-set at subsidize rate to empower our powerless people, like a fair-price shop or like a Urea Fertilizer, for the entire state's population, as a substitute of electric power. But I realized it's not practicable, because our government seems able-less to do even the most first thing first, methinks!

I also thought, for catering the needs of people who cultivates inside the zero-miles markets-areas; likes tradesperson, city- pedestrian, market-dwellers, Boys in Khakis & White dish out at city-heart, for them also....... the govt. should better think for an option, So that,...... they also could availed the benefit of listening radio to empower themselves.

And my other-wise idea, which could change the lives, would be to install a very, very, Super-Big Radio receiver/set at the heart of the city. It is suggestible to emplace within the diameter of 3 km, in a center-point of the area. So that all the programs broadcasted are not flown by air in waste.

So as, it may also helped more multiplied in terms of motto-achievement of our radio, 'Bhujan Hitaya, Bhujan sukaya'- the benefit & happiness of all.., But I back to sense, that my ideology was not pragmatic coz' Drinking Water, Street-lamp, Improving Health Services Sector, Improving Drainage system, Initiating Flood or Drought Preparedness Scheme, Improving transportation system, formulating price control mechanism for essential commodities, Controlling illegitimate Urea's export, solving second life-line issue etc. are more important than the Radio or CCTV, a convention center or 5 star Hotel or a dream of an international airport etc.

And another problem is, only radio could not be a relevant means & mission for 'power to empower' the promising young generation, coz' the era now is keep changing; it's now an e-mails era than snail-mails, facebook from pen pals. They hardly would accept to revert their era from Satellite to Cycle, to Bullock cart again. In their talk-time, I heard, "internet would breaks the news, TV will do the backup story with colored background, and Newspapers will end-up the story with its analysis & interpretation".

And, the radio part was missing in their conversation. They think beyond the plebeian-understanding, even though they don't call radio an idiots-box, and TV as a kind of another box, they are trending now, without empowerment, in the global arena.

Some of them says, what is the use of power if it can't empower the people, what is the use of the annual plan if it can't plan the people's future, what is the use of streets-lamp if it doesn't light the streets, what is the use of electric power if it can't power the dark streets, what is the use of water supply schemes if it can't supply drinking water consistently, what is the use of police if it can't polish its own land, what is the use of that urea if it is not mean for the farmers,.... They said, all elected politicians are not statesman, and neither their power is not only to distribute the old-age pensions, for our hunchback respected citizens.

And yesterday (on Saturday), like usual I tuned to lunch time west-music programme of Radio, to improve my limited version of English & my word power. The last number played was from my favorite,-Bob and the verse of song, I by heart was;

In the dime stores & bus station, People talk of situation
Read books, repeat quotation, Draw Conclusion on the wall
Some speak of future, my love she speaks softly
She Knows there's no success like failure, And, that failure's is no success at all .......

Newsperson: As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, a free 'Olympic fever' diagnosis camp was organized on Saturday by 'MYBINA Diagnostic Center' at power-circuit road, in which no person turn up. An official source maintained that the fever-tolls are like to increase, as Hamangte Chungneijang Mery Kom(IND-Blue Shirt) vs Karolina (POL-Red) falls today @ 14:00 hrs.
