How I grew up with this nature- 8
By: Devaraj Takhellambam *

This evening, I spent some time just staring at the almost full Moon..Man, I tell you-its really beautiful. The way she radiates the melancholic energy that shootens the heart of anyone who stares at her..Its just awesome..There will not be a single person on this earth who doesn't love her...Specially, when you see it behind the shade of the trees.. I WOULD MURMER a song to myself..Go and watch the moon carefully if you haven't done it already...And next time, you go out and watch the moon, remember me...coz I will also be watching....

Thaja mabu Mapu Panbarane....

I had been feeling little lonely the past couple of days as I moved in to this new part of the world...Its just strange here and life seems so miserable without having a car..and neither I know driving that well..I learnt once but I had never driven a car all alone.. To keep my lonesme away on this warm weekend , I pick up to writing this series of my article titled- How I grew up with this nature...This is the series 9.. I have been longing to write for so long but never got a chance earlier...and this is special..

On this special note, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you the story of how I met the girl of my life...I am committed already this time for sure. yes, really!

It was in Bangalore..beautiful weather..I came from Hyderabad along with a friend of mine on a business errand stoppage for 7 days before I left for Gurgaon to start my first project in an IT career...That was when I met with the girl of my life....for the first time and then my life has changed..

She is a friend of a cousin sister of mine and they had actually come to give me some stuff for my cousin as I was going to Gurgaon..It seems like they use to stay together in Bangalore..Oh yes!

She wore a blue Denim Jeans and a white T-shirt and she was looking just beautiful ....

I didn't expect too much from her or either I didn't show a lot of interest..It was just a casual meet and we enjoyed the time. She came with a friend of her and we went out to watch the movie "Harry Potter" ...

Harry....Harry brought the love and the city showers love everywhere...It was an overwhelming and a good experience to get to meet such a wonderful kind hearted person..ofcourse of my likes...She is just awesome..and don't ask me.. what I am upto now..I told you I am already commited to her...

I remember, I was actually very tired and was trying hard not to sleep in the theater.. I don't clearly remember how the movie was!. But I know they really enjoyed and I was glad....

So..what is the story? Meeting...movie and what next? ..Guess what?

But unfortunately, we got disconnected from each other for sometime as none of us would initiate or had any reason to contact. What's this? But not for so long....yeah yeah...

After a couple of months...

Well It was yahoo that connects us again after a long time..Thanks to yahoo..I use to say NO WOMEN NO CRY- The Bob Dylan way and she would say – No Men No Tension. .I wonder what tension she was trying to convey..but what the heck, I was least bothered.. So it started that way...it became a habit to chat almost everyday. You could imagine how it feels to be when u started doing something on a daily basis and when it didn't happen for just a day as she wont just tuned up..Disappointed..angry...and Imagine a lot of things...

Then, one fine SUNDAY morning, I took all my courage to call her on phone..Hello ...and she was so surprised to receive a call from me...and that makes both of us so much excited..and the talk continues, sweet nothings...From every weekend to everyday and what not?.. Life was so interesting and everything seems to be so exciting and sweetening...Hmm...That was love..I was falling in love...

On the negative effect, I had to pay a huge phone bills and I had to change my connections and what not..Man..It was so much of fun ..I was crazy.. Life moves on..with a strange feeling..Everywhere you go..everything you do..you just think about one thing..HER

So you know... That was it..I bet everyone of us have a nice story to tell..more interesting than I do..

So finally, I decided to go to Bangalore for some official as well as personal works..and I planned to meet her...

Yes, I bought a gift for her as well from United Colours of Bennetton...Is that right? She was so happy to get the gift and she told me that she never expected it and what not... I like to give nice surprises.. To make the story a little bit more interesting and realsitic...I have pasted the emails I sent out to all my friends in Bangalore including her informing them that I am coming......

Dear Friends,

I hope this message find you all well.. Okay, I just wanted to let you all know that I am coming to Bangalore for a Business errand and some Personal activities. So I was hoping this is the right time we get together for some fun and good talks.
I will be arriving there on 23'th Oct and will be there for a week or so if all goes well.
I will notify if there is any change of plan.
A dear fren of mine is presenting me a new sim card, so I will have a new number during my stay which I will notify you when I reach Bangalore., Please feel free to call me.
Be prepared to be disturbed from your work schedule. Get ready for some action!
Spread the word! Joy to Bangalore! Dev is arriving...

Cheers,
Devaraj
So this is the fabled Bangalore monsoon, rains furiously for a short time, mostly in the evenings, cools the temperature down, washes all the flora and fauna into bright greens...pretty cool. There is something to be said about sipping Assam tea with hot boras(pakoda) in an open restaurant verandah with a thunderous downpour just yards away... And spend the time with somebody you care for, somebody you would die for... How would you like that? Awesome...

Bangalore is good...I met her again after such a long time..It was in October..a very pleasant weather and that made my stay more memorable..I stayed at my friends place and It was just good...There was a little bit of twist before I met her again but at the end it was unforgettable.. We would sit at the Barista and just sip a cup of coffee...and continue talking..Day after day..the intensity of my love grows more stronger as I get to know her pretty well...

Guess what, I had to postponed my back journey for a day just to meet her one more time...you know..It was all nice..We would go to the Empire and eat grill chicken..and we would go to Java city and sip a GREE TEA( Let me emphasise this ) and what not...nadhini... We spent most of the time together ..talking.and it was so good that it went so fast..In the evening I would just come back homeand meet my friends and they would be angry with me...and I had to tell all the blah blahs...For the sake of love, I know we can do anything...can't you?

And finally, I had to come back sadly..and with just the unforgettable memories back to Gurgaon..That was when I sent out the below email..

Hi,
Thank you Frens.. Thank you Bangalore..Thank you All.
I just can't put into good words how I enjoyed my stay at Bangalore.., it was just splendid...I enjoyed each and every moment..and the days went too fast...
Thank you for sparing your precious time to be together...those moments are exhilarating..the coffe(GREEN TEA) was more tastier with you..
Days are gone.. Time clicks away...But we will meet again next time..always!
I am sorry for not able to meet some of you, but I wud look forward to meeting you next time for sure.
BAck to Gurgaon! Love from Bangalore! Here I am ..spreading the Joy!!!

Thank you All..
Until next time...
Bye,
Devaraj..

With this..I am putting a stop of this part here...I promise to come back again with the next part..Let me go and do some research on how to live a life without much of a worry when we are far away from home and from your dearest ones...Now go grab a cup of hot tea and go back to your work....work is important... and life is worth living with all the love. Treasure every moment..

I always try to tell myself that I want nothing unsaid to those that I love and care for . Tell them everyday that you can...how you feel...put your arms around them at every opportunity....and always be happy and smile....SMILE costs nothing..
