The day breaks, you wake up with a heavy head and you wonder if today is the jam room or the cubicle. Reality dawns and you rush into the shower for that important 10 AM meeting. Then, after milling through 1.5 hours of horrendous traffic you are finally in the conference room followed by another 8 restless hours in meeting rooms and the heavenly cubicle...
Someone should write a song called Cubicle Blues! Maybe someday...

Monday to Friday is a repeat, like a broken tape played back over and over again in slow motion… and then when the clock chimes 8 you come out like a vampire in the night - go into the jam room, switch on the amplifiers and relish 6 hours of bliss...
this is a snapshot of 'a day in the life' of HeavyWater.

HeavyWater is a band formed and based in Bangalore. The band is comprised of working professionals from Manipur across different industry verticals, mostly in IT. Since the band's formation in 2005 they have appeared in various events like Freedom Jam, Sunday Jam, Live Gig and have been playing in pubs like Legends Of Rock and Purple Haze, all popular venues among the rock music community in Bangalore.

The love for their home state have always inspired HeavyWater to organize a concert in Manipur, whenever the band goes on vacation to the violence ridden state far away in North East India. The concerts are self-sponsored by the band and appropriately themed as HomeRun. HomeRun 2009 & 2011 were both sold out concerts well received by hordes of screaming fans. This year, however, due to logistical hassles, the band is organizing HomeRun 2013 in Bangalore, their second home.
