Irom Sharmila, who has been on an indefinite fast demanding repeal of AFSPA, flown to Delhi :: March 03 2013 :: Pix - Deepak Oinam

Is our Eche Sharmila synonymous with AFSPA? No, sh*t! Universal No! She is synonymous with Non-Violence and its great offspring Anti-AFSPA. How dare you weave Eche with AFSPA! She is the only one and representative that sirened constant high pitch to Annihilate-AFSPA for more than a decade.

I have a sarcastic notion that if the Indian Govt. were to weigh between Human Rights and AFSPA, AFSPA is too heavy that the famous symbol of law will distort and destroy. It seems to be their best sadistic tool if the testimonies and observations are recapped till to the present. Is there another absurd meaning and exception to Human Rights? And proclaiming to be the largest democratic country.

Aren't law-practitioners Human Rights cause practitioners? Where is the right conscience of amendment and abolition of act gone? Isn't their practice set- so called constitution-the framework and mechanism of a country- sprouts from Human rights if I am not wrong? Excuse me Politicians! Please stop your wits and wisdom of harangue in times of election manifesto! We are fed enough except through your concerned action still yet to be. Why you are so numb and drowned with power being in puppet leadership status where your voters are paralyzing day by day and becoming so immune to this untoward abnormal state of never-dream psyche?

When experiencing and realizing intersects these sarcastic notions, we are reduced to……. I can't imagine! No creature deserve that. I don't bother to read and analyse the know-how of AFSPA. "Granted Power to shoot someone to death just for suspicion" is enough for me to acknowledge what the act is. They say it is a modification of a British Act during pre-Independence when we are not part of Indian Union which implies and instills in us- Experience how the Indian version taste like? Isn't it greater power than of British? Like ragging pass on in Indian institutions.

The present generation are lucky enough to steep relief with big-campaign and stringent laws to curb ragging but wonder zero level atleast even though AFSPA's turn awaits. How many generations for AFSPA to be in the fabric of our society due to where fountain of human blood springs, floating dead bodies like abundant resources? You can denatured thy brain drowning in deep horror, complex horripilation and irreversible emotion if you are unfortunate enough to taste and experience a pinch of continuing chronological events of AFSPA.

How many real spirits of real horror unheard testimonies will continue? How and where the young innocent generation's psyche resort to streaming consciously and unconsciously from rolling-on vicious cycle of law and order? If you say, don't blame AFSPA all the time, then you can't console in any way the AFSPA and its consequences has been since. Everyone knows insurgencies arise exponentially after implementation of AFSPA where its goal being to curb insurgency.

Ironical enough like medicine yielding more diseases. This Draconian Law- (uttered by the PM Manmohan Singh) led directly or indirectly the Mortuary Department, populous and busiest department in our hospitals. And by the way, I wonder our state govt. didn't passed the Anatomy Act even now where because of AFSPA can provides our medical students the potential to become top-notch surgeons in the world.

It is said that there is merit and demerit for everything, that's the only advantage I guess can be yielded owing to which our surgeons will be learning from the corpse of their near and dear ones not for natural death, succumb to disease or accident but for…………….(fill up the blank who ever know the atrocities and consequences of AFSPA), which no one deserves to experience or know even. Or are the perpetrators satisfied with their criminal and sadistic reflex?

I am a lazy bum to write anything I deserve whatever wild and interesting idea that came across and many fades out in the abyss of amnesia. But AFSPA forces and induces me the stimulus to jot down this awake- somniloquism as nibble in AFSPA's biography where our Eche Mengoubi is the antagonist and Govt. of India is a protagonist. Where the antagonist has always soaring hopes chanting we shall overcome some day, the hope for millions of us. Plus the father of nation is a posthumous antagonist I may say and I flash remind myself the quote from Albert Einstein on him: "Generations to come, it may well be, will scarce believe that such a person as this one ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth." Eche is already in Ripley's Believe It or Not. Who cares and nothing of that seems important and worthy except free Eche, free us.

And also further added, "The moral influence he(Gandhi) had on the consciously thinking human being of the entire CIVILIZED WORLD will probably much more lasting than it seems in our time with its overestimation of brutal violent forces." Definitely everyone will accept it. Implies my question that: Do Indian govt. self-agree that they are not part of the civilized world?

Wandering?? If the mindset of the Indian govt. is:
----> Developing country -------- Civilizing country
Developed country --------- Civilized country
Underdeveloped country--------- Uncivilized country

Matching the following above is highly inappropriate for everyone to guess if I am not wrong. Civilized should be the perfect match to whatever country they categorized and should long for always. Is this levy en masse experimenting the highest magnitude on the Richter Scale of Violence for its potential? Are they exploring altered and adulterated states of consciousness on us? I love Gandhi's quote too. " I have nothing new to teach the world; truth and non-violence are old as the hills."

Eche expressed that she should not be idolised or worshipped. My humble tag on that is people always want hero in their fantasies of longing realities, many beating hearts irrespective of their trait and nature unhesitatingly admire Eche for the gutty spirit of our nine hills. They have faith and bright hopes in Eche's dedicated life for them. That's their want, desire, wish, satisfaction, pride, sharing common goal derived from Eche's herculean will, the present torch-bearer unceasingly igniting many minds to believe in Truth and Non-violence triumph over evil always.

People coming out with their different traits of contribution lies there too for this aspiring hopes of right to live not just survive. I hope that's not about setting up a cult and fanaticism. Eche is our divine providence, Ushin, the term in the philosophy of our Meiteihood.

More than making life size statue, posters of Eche in our room that fantasize us the spirit and reflect ourselves, badge of non-violence, scholarships dedicated to Eche; "I want Eche's belongings to be kept in Museums or any- deserved- site for the coming generation of the world to ignite, learn and continue the spirit of non-violence and truth which will be the backbone of approach to solutions in chaos and problems and has been always. But the problem is minority follows that and the solution is when majority follows in which Eche is our role-model."

I wish and it's my duty and every creature's duty who are born with right to life, live not just survive to get light from the aura of Eche's cosmic energy inducing to root out the cause, its parallels, and dimensions of its kind. Eche, I have hopes through the lesson you taught with your spirit and determination that the whole world will feast together with you someday.

Echoes still reverberate the fateful demise of many unsung heroes, self-immolation of Pebam Chitaranjan, brutal killing of Thangjam Manorama(On July 15, 2004, Meira paibis Ema-Eben on seeing the Manorama's corpse branded with rape and torture, outburst "Our tears wash our fear and shame" which led to the infamous protest that shock the world), Malom Massacre, many massacres reported and unreported, fake-encounter of innocent lives, etcetera….. hounding to give us the message that deserved punishment is no longer the primary issue for they have gone and scar unrepairable but a society of right to live freely and free from fear psychosis passing down the generations.

No AFSPA-Commission is even an old broom to sweep out…!
MESSAGE: Eche will stop fast when the fountain of ultra-violence will be dried forever.
The slogan is "Long Live Eche but not by fasting!"
Is AFSPA acronym also for –"Act to Fast Sharmila Persistently Afar"?

Once an independent kingdom of rich moral ethics and values enveloping with harmony, invasion of cultural and religious hegemony resulting the burning of our sacred collection of books to the deteriorating moral of kings that led subjugation to his subjects facing identity crisis, merger to Indian Union to present prevailing pandemonium; whoever have the guts to know the civic sense, philosophy and esteemed ladder set by our true ancestors springs hope and vision even at this continuing apocalyptic period of a society where collective conscience, mutual understanding, and unambiguous unity continue to calls for.

With every coming New Year, sajibu nongma panba Cheiraoba, Eche has been a Cheithaba/Cheithabi for more than a decade with fasting and platonic will.
