Seminar : Inclusive Education: Past, Present and Future
The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Manipur (LNKRM) a leading organization dedicated to promoting education and community development, successfully conducted 1st Legislative Assembly cum Seminar of Inclusive Education: Past, Present and Future based on National Education Policy 2020 on 8th – 9th March, 2024 at Aling (Khundong Khunkhaiba) Village, Tamenglong District, Manipur featuring esteemed resource person, students and community leaders.
The event was graced by Eno. Kengsung Newmai, Assistant Inspector of Schools, Deputy Inspector, Tamei. Speaking on the seminar Mr. Newmai emphasized on the current education policies, various facilities and upgradations on education. He stressed on the role and responsibilities of the parents and teachers and to be aware of new policy being updated and make the students of this generation be competent with the rest of the country. He also shared that the village Authority council, SMDC members and concerned school’s department should be held accountable and maintain transparency in shaping the career of the students.
Mr. Mathiuchunbou Rimai, President LNKR strongly expressed that education is the greatest tools for achieving social justice and equality that bring changes in the society. Mr. Rimai encouraged the students to focus more on the professional courses and discovered their talents.
In this fast-changing World in the era of computer and internet the parents should also know what their children are exactly doing. Many youths have become desperate since they are jobless with their mere certificate in this competitive World. Therefore, the youth should also engage more on the vocational courses and discovered their strength and weakness less they become misnomer in the society.
In the 1st LNKR Legislative Assembly the union strongly took a stern decision that they will not leave any stone unturned to uplift, upgrade and for the progress of the society. Mr. Mathiuchunbou Rimai President and his executive inspected the schools of Kundong Khunkahiba and interacted with school’s department and students. Thus, assured that the union will not leave them behind rather find a positive means to develop the infrastructure and administration of the schools.
The event was attended by about 1000 crowd, including 70 units under LNKRM, a representative of President, Secretary and executives. Also inviting all the Aling Village neighboring villagers including Pastors, Church Leaders, Chairman, Authority Council, Women department, schools concerned authority, Students and youth. The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Manipur continues to be at the forefront of promoting inclusive education community engagement.
