Orientation Programme on Youth Leadership and Development at Moirang College
With an objective to provide the youths of Manipur with the ability to analyze their strengths and weaknesses, set personal and vocational goals, and promote self-esteem, confidence, and motivation at this critical juncture of the state, a three-day orientation programme on Youth Leadership & Development kicked off today the 24th Feb 2024 at Moirang College, Bishnupur District, Manipur with the support of the Centre for National and International Collaboration, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, under the scheme of Training Programme on Youth Development Issues in collaboration with State/Central Universities/National Institutions in India.

The inaugural function was attended by the Head of the Centre for Training, Orientation and Capacity Building RGNIYD, Professor Vasanthi Rajendran as the key speaker, Controller of Examination of Manipur University Prof. Ng. Nimai Singh as the Chief Guest, Registrar of the University Prof. Chand Babu, renowned social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram and Career Counsellor Y. Modhu Singh as the Guests of Honour.
The principal of the college Dr Raheijuddin Sheikh shall preside over the inaugural function. All NSS volunteers and students are informed to participate the programme.
