Khangminashi VIII : Electric Vehicle : Opportunities & Challenges

Kanglei Khongyang Thijinyon (KKT), Imphal, an advanced research center has been organizing an interactive program “Khangminashi” under the Science Communication Scheme of KKT, Imphal.
The main aim of the lecture series is to nurture the young minds towards an exciting career in Science and Technology. Scientists/Professors/Researchers that are best at their own professional area will be giving lecture and interact with the young minds to motivate and enlighten them towards the exciting world of Science and Technology. Speaker will generally talk about the present state of art in research in their respective field.
After a successful conduct of Khangminashi Lecture Series in 2018-2020, the eight edition of the lecture series will be conducted on a virtual platform on 5th September 2021 at 1100 hrs (IST).
The resource person is Dr. Robindro Lairenlakpam, Principal Scientist, Head, EV Technology Research Group, CSIR – Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP), Dehradun, India.
He has more than 19 years of experience in Electric Vehicle powerstrain evaluation, performance study, drive cycle analysis, energy consumption studies, energy management & efficiency studies, vehicle dynamics and automotive testing systems, especially laboratory and real world vehicle performance valuation (both EV and ICEV).
He will be giving the talk on the topic “Electric Vehicle and its Opportunities & Challenges – Present & Future”

The program will be organized in collaboration with Mitsna, Imphal. MitSna is a youth driven non-profit group working towards the goal of providing quality and equitable educational resources aiming towards the promotion of free and all round holistic education to the youth of Manipur.
