The Education system between India and abroad makes a big difference in terms of medical education; today we have lot of advertisement about medical education in our country, specially for medical education in China, few years back we have seen about medical education in Russia too.

1) The education gap between abroad and India is about the Medical syllabus specially the duration hour and teaching style which make a big difference like exposure to various diseases available in tropical climatic conditions like India, not available in China or Europe or other countries.

2) This is a very important today for any medical student and any medical college taking student from India. Student went in large numbers to European countries like Russia Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Armenia to study medicine.

They could not do well in their Screening Test Exam conducted by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the students failed en mass except few who are enthusiastic to become doctors. This is because the students had to study in a different system and the MCI had conducted the exam in the pattern based on the syllabus and system of India.

3) The duration of course conducted in respective college, what ever it is for a medical college should provide enough hour for respective course for the medical student to grasp the knowledge of the course.

4) One can enroll for any medical college abroad which are recognized by World Health Organization(WHO) and where it is written eligible for english course, since all of the college in China, USSR, were conducted in there regional language, but there are few medical college where they have medical course in English and which is recognized by WHO for those who are willing to enroll in english course, and one can also take admission in any of the medical college in China or Russia recognized by WHO, if he/she is willing to study in there regional language, for that he/she should study for 1 year language Course.

5) Eligibility criteria for taking admission in Medical course are
a)He/She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year admission to the MBBS course.
b)He/she should obtain 50% above for general students and for those students st/sc should obtain minimum 40% as per MCI rules and regulations. or if any body have doubt can clarify to the medical council of India website

c)One should obtain Eligibility Certificate for foreign studies before departing from India.

I was working abroad for 15 years(1975-90) and I have visited few countries too and I do visit regularly medical institutes in India and abroad, I have seen the vast difference about medical education in India and abroad and today doctors from India are renown in every corners of the world and there are lots of Indian Doctors in abroad because of its quality education. As well as western medical educations are famous in the world too.

One should aware of the medical education specially in China that is very important. The syllabus pattern are vastly different specially in temrs of durations. Since most of the University in China conduct the course according to their pattern. One should aware of medical course which is going to deal with one life. With lack of proper knowledge may kill some one life in the future.

Courses & duration which is conducted in Most of the University in China.... anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, Internal medicine, Internal surgery studied for only 1 semester,as well as there are some institutions which conduct microbilogy, parasitolgy for 36 hours only, which is not sufficient for medical students to acquire knowledge.

One can asked to the specific medical students or Doctors, Is it sufficient to get enough knowledge which should be acquire by medical students. So, Please beware of it. Or one can asked to the medical students who is studying in China. And there is no such course for community medicine but there are in some of the university where they immplement indian syllabus pattern too,

There are reputed University in china and around the world such as China Medical University, Zhejiang Medical University, which is conducted in indian, US and Uk syllabus pattern .. ......... It is necessary to ask the guardians who have visited the university, but seeing in glance cannot decide the education level of the university for that one should inquire to students properly and check out the curriculum.

For the lodging and fooding have been arrange properly by the university specially 2 person sharing one room with attached bathroom, TV, fridge, study table along with the internet facility to acknowledge upto date for medical students which can be obtain from specific medical website, sharing more than 3 students in teh aparment hostel makes students get frustrated in there studies too.

Separate hostel for boys and girls, which is must for our students are available, which is not available in all university in China. I also personnaly have visited respective instituions in china. For fooding there are large canteen which can accomodate more than 1000 students at a time.... as well as there are specially designed for foreign students , and the chef are from India at reasonable price.

Last year altogether 26 students from Manipur have gone to China for Studies in the field of Medical Education. For this year also the number of students have increased dramatically who have enroll for chinese medical university ........ So, do not hesitate for anyone who is willing to go further education and see around what the medical education has made upto...... and practice with the new technology which is also available in india but few only in the reputed hospital/Institutes and do not hesitate to enroll in medical institutes in china but with good knowledge of the institutions.

As well as Studying in reputed instituion Bangladesh such as Dhaka University, Islamic University, University of science and technology, where one can avail good opportunity for the indian students not only in china, where you can understand one language properly and easily, Since the character is similar with manipuri, we can cope up with the language in few months and the eligibility for the students is 60 %. And the session starts from January and April. There are many students who have enroll medical course in Bangladesh from India.

The students can appear in USLME, UKPLAB examination who are studying in reputed University either from Bangladesh, India or China, not only the specific college besides that coaching classes are conducted for the screening exam...
