MSFDS is delighted to announce that the Award Presentation Ceremony of the 15th Manipur State Film Awards (MSFA), 2023 will be held on April 27, 2024, commencing with a Red-Carpet event of the prestigious Award Winners and Special Invitees at the MSFDS complex at the Palace Gate, Imphal East.

The hon’ble Governor of Manipur and the Chief Secretary of the Government of Manipur have kindly consented to be the Chief Guest and President of the Award Presentation, respectively.

As part of our efforts to elevate Manipuri Cinema to greater heights, MSFDS is initiating several strategies, including the introduction of a Red-Carpet event for the Award Winners. This endeavour is designed to emphasize the significance of the award recipients and transform the Award Presentation ceremony into a grand spectacle, establishing it as an enviable annual affair where distinguished film personalities mingle with the esteemed Press.

While the actual presentation of awards will take place inside, much of the buzz and excitement unfolds outside, with journalists dissecting the red-carpet ensembles, highlighting which stars won which awards for which film and are adorned in which designer labels, and photographers capturing moments in the press line. The red carpet not only serves as a dazzling platform for product placement, particularly influential in the fashion industry, but also as a backdrop for publicity, adorned with brand logos or emblems for photography purposes.

Given the crucial role of the media in the success of this event, MSFDS earnestly requests your cooperation in ensuring extensive coverage of the Red Carpet and Award Presentation by assigning your page-3 reporters and photographers/videographers.

The Red Carpet will commence at 2:15 pm and conclude by 3:15 pm on April 27, 2024
