Sainik School Imphal conducts Inter House Cross country race

Imphal, November 01 2012: Sainik School Imphal conducted its much awaited Inter-House Cross Country Race on 11 Nov 2012 with great fervor and enthusiasm.

Col (Dr) Ravi Kumar, the school Principal, flagged off the race where the cadets from Netaji, Raman, Shivaji and Tagore Houses took part.

The competition is organised by the school every year with a concrete aim of inculcating sportsmanship and esprit-de-corps amongst the cadets.

Overall, Raman House bagged the Champions Trophy whereas Shivaji House was runner up.

In the individual category, Cdt Sahensilta of Tagore House secured first position while Cdt Shidaba ( Class XI) of Shivaji House and Cdt Tadang Rai (Class XI) of Netaji House secured the second and third position respectively.

Champion house and individual winners were awarded with trophy, cash prizes and medals by the principal.
