Plate Tournament: PCC beat YAC by 47 runs

Imphal, April 16 2015 : PCC Mayaikoibi beats YAC Yaishkul in the league match of the 2nd Plate Tournament of Manipur Cricket Association (MCA) at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

PCC posted 149 by losing 6 wickets after winning the toss from the allotted 30 overs.

The competitive score was reached on the performance of Jobanta (39) and Ranjan (30).Rohit also made a patient 25 off 50 balls while Bidison contributed 14 runs.

The six wickets were distributed among Sanjay (3 wickets); Somorjit (2 wickets) and Krishmani (1 wicket) of YWC.

PCC bowlers halt the run chase of YWC in 28.4 overs by giving away 102 runs.

Ragish was the chief tormentor of YAC batsmen with 3 wickets while Ranjan returned with 2 wickets.

Jobanta and Jonshon accounted 1 wicket each.

Majority of YAC could spend time in the middle and thwart the PCC bowlers.

Joychandra (20); Rakesh (18) and Somorjit (14) exhibit some spine to fight.

Jobanta's of PCC was adjudged the Man of the Match for the batting and bowling effort.
