Jamsat Songtun Youth Club (JSYC), a noted football club in Sadar Hills on Saturday vehemently condemned All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) for "scratching" JSYC before the men's final match of the 20th Winner's Cup, 2015 .
Strongly decrying the alleged unfairness and the attitude of AMFA in denying its rightful place in the 20th Winner's Cup men's final match, JSYC Manager Helun Haokip said that the AMFA have committed a "blatant mistake" by scratching JSYC Sadar Hills from the men's final match of the Winner's Cup, 2015 .
He said that on October 30, DSA Sadar Hills General Secretary, who is also the executive member of AMFA was informed that JSYC Sadar Hills will play the men's final match of the 20th Winner's Cup with KLASA, Bishnupur.
However, it was learnt from a reliable source that AMFA had a late night press Statement on Friday about its executive decision to scratch JSYC, Sadar Hills from the final match allegedly for fielding Ng Bedeenpar Moyon, a registered player of UBSA, Manta Kakching.
JSYC Sadar Hills Manager Helun Haokip said that there is no official protest of the club from the governing authority even on the day of the final match while the club did not receive any official and written intimation on scratching the club from AMFA as per their rules No.9 clause 2(a) until.
He also said that on July, 7 UBSA, Manta Kakching General Secretary signed on behalf of the club loaning Ng Bedeenpar Moyon to JSYC Sadar Hills and the requisite forms were subsequently submitted to AMFA office on July 14 while a photocopy of the same had been forwarded to DSA Sadar Hills.
He further alleged that General Secretary of DSA Kakching and Jt Secretary of AMFA, Nilo, who hails from Kakching allegedly, colluded with Sagolband United.
He said that the misplacing of JSYC Sadar Hills documents was the handiwork of an insider and said as per reliable source, Nilo was allegedly involved.
Helun also said that bye-laws and guidelines served was not as expected from the governing body and asked AMFA to demonstrate the authenticity and genuineness on their part whether the issue of scratching one club after winning both home & away match after they duly authorized the players.
He also pointed out the official intimation of the scratched of JSYC Sadar Hills though issued to the club was yet to reach the office while the final match have already been played.
JSYC Manager added that AMFA has been trying to conceal its blunder by intentionally blotting the high earned image of JSYC.
"While tribal football fraternity stoutly opposed the sinister and unfairness attitude of the football governing body of the State, we do not want such body for administering disunity among the football loving clubs in the State," said Helun Haokip.
