Imphal, January 24 2019: Khumukcham Sanjita Chanu has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to CSOs, student organizations, media persons, well-wishers and every person in Manipur for the support, guidance and motivation in her fight against the doping charge handed dowm by International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), said a statement released by Khumukcham Sanjita Chanu.

She also appreciated the support of many CSOs & student organizations like PoFM, SSUM, DESAM, SWA, AMPGA, MPPDU, TCMDC, AKSA, AMSU, MSF, MSAD, DAMMS, AVBP (Delhi Unit) and others for raising public awareness about her innocence.

She further extended her respect to all media fraternities for carrying her news in the local & national papers and all sport journalists, it added.

She also expressed her regards to Sunil Elangbam (Secy MOA), the Dronacharya Awardee L Ibomcha Singh (In charge, SAI Khuman Lampak), Ranjan (Coach, Weightlifting, SAI Khuman Lampak), and the Indian Weightlifting Federation (IWLF) officials for their help and guidance.
