AMGWA selects 5 bodybuilders

Imphal, July 05 2015 : The All Manipur Gymnasium Welfare Association (AMGWA) has selected 5 bodybuilders to represent the State to participate in the trial selection to prepare the National team for the 48th Mr Asia and 7th Mr World to be held from October 1 to 6 at Tashkent and November 23 to 29 at Bangkok respectively.

The players were selected through a trial selection conducted today at Heingang Kangjeibung while the selection trial for the National team will be held on July 30 and 31 at Vizag.

The selected State bodybuilders are L Robert Meitei (Senior Category 65 kg), K Rebita Devi (Sr Women Category), Th Sarita Devi (Sr Women Category), M Ranjit Meitei (Masters Category) and John Haobijam (Sports Physique Category) .

National judges S Thambal Sharma and N Ratan Singh of Manipur will attend as match officials in the events.
