13th AMFA Senior Women's League : ESU seal top honour, qualify for Indian Women's League

Imphal, December 16 2022: Eastern Sporting Union, Wangkhei Palace Compound sealed a 2-0 aggregate win against UPSA-Pukhao in the 13th Sr Women's Football League at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong to seal tourney title.

Having won the previous leg by a slender 1-0 margin, ESU pulled off a similar win in the second leg today thanks to Sanasam Yailembi's goal in the 52nd minute and emerged league champions of the double-legged 7 team tournament with 10 wins and 2 draws in 12 matches while KRYPHSA finished runners up on 26 points from 8 wins and 2 draws.

Finishing third were YWC-Langthabal who collected 24 points from 7 wins and 3 draws.
