Kangjamba clinches services title in Tennis

Imphal, November 01 2012: N Kangjamba helped Revenue Department to the team event title of the 12th Manipur Civil Services Tennis Championship after rallying to clinch the singles crown with a 5-7, 6-1, 6-0 victory over T Pamei of Secretariat at Officers' Club tennis complex, Lamphelpat today.

In the doubles final, H Iboyaima and P Pritam outlasted H Ibotombi-N Dilip pairing 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 .

The team event final saw Kangjamba provide the lead for Revenue Department with a 6-0, 6-0 rout of Planning Department's Ranjit and Lemba restoring parity for Planning after a 7-6, 6-1 win over Sharat.

However, Kangjamba teamed up with Ranjit to win the decisive doubles match against the Planning Department duo of Ranjit and Lemba at 6-0, 6-1 .
