Strive while the world is focussing in India:Gouramangi

"It is not the time to remain idle but to strive harder for the ultimate goal when the world is focussing in Indian football" said International footballer Gouramangi today.
Speaking to Hueiyen Lanpao in an exclusive interview, Gouramangi said that the time seems to be gone when Manipuri players used to rule Indian football.
In the near future, there might be no one from Manipur in the Indian team if the current trend is followed.
In order to reach the ultimate goal, a player must dedicate and conentrate on his career with sincerity and determination.
The 26 years old lad from Awang Sekmai told that he will do his best to bring a bright future of football in the state.
Born in 1996, Gouramangi has been spending most of his life outside the state after matriculation.
He started his exposure outside Manipur when he represented Manipur Public School in the NE CBSE School Football Meet in Itanagar in 1999 .
In the year he participated in the trial of Tata Football Academy.
He got selected and joint the academy in 2000.Potsangbam Raghumani, father of international footballer Renedy help him in reaching the academy.
He spent the most important stint of his career in the academy from 2002 to 2004 during which he developed the skills to become an international player.
He had remained captains of U-18, U-19 and U-20 .
He had played for Mohun Bagan, Dempo, Mahindra United and Sporting Club De Goa.
Recently he has signed with Prayag United and will play for the club from this year onwards.
He had played 56 international matches as a defender and scored five goals to become one of the most envied Indian footballer.
He was adjudged as the Best Defender of the ONGC I-League 2008-09 .
