10th Manipur State League 2015 SSU blank YPHU, secure fifth place

Imphal, November 04 2015: SSU, Singjamei clinched a comfortable 2-0 victory against YPHU to secure the fifth place of the 10th Manipur State League 2015, sponsored by Khumukcham Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust, today at Artificial Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

In today's one sided match, SSU dominated from the first minute.

However, they had a tough time to open the account till H Dayananda Singh found the net in the 45+1 minute making the scoreline 1-0 in the first half.

After the breather, YPHU fought back hard but failed to break the defence line of SSU who stood firm throughout the match.

The second winning goal for SSU came in the 83rd minute through L Gogocha.

YPHU's Ph Sohodev and M Kabiraj and SSU's Zamtinkhup Vaiphei were yellow carded during the match.

Tomorrow, NACO, Nambul Mapal will clash with TRAU, Kwakeithel for the 7th place.
