Locals demand shifting of Church

Imphal, June 13 2013: The Coordination Committee Against the Construction and Establishment of VCI at Kongpal Naoroibam Leikai has demanded the Church being constructed in the locality be shifted out of the place in order to prevent further unwanted tensions.

Addressing media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Convenor of the Coordination Committee Ksh Romesh said that the construction of a church under the name of Victory Church of India (VCI) in the locality of Kongpal Naoroibam Leikai is very much against the interest of the local residents.
