Imphal, October 23 2012: A man from Phoudel Moirangpurel, Thoubal district was found dead in a suspicious manner at Ukhrul this morning.

A source informed that the body of a man was discovered beside a pond near Pettigrew College under Ukhrul police station this morning.

It is suspected that the deceased might be one Nahakpam Dhana (32) s/o late Sanakhomba of Yairipok Phoudel Moirangpurel.

Police have picked up the corpse and registered a case in connection with the incident.
