Imphal, June 13 2013: NABARD Manipur today conducted a workshop for banks in Manipur on financing solar home lighting system under Capital Subsidy Scheme for Solar Lighting and Small Capacity PV System of JN National Solar Mission, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt of India at Anand Continental, Thangal Bazar.

The workshop was facilitated by Mangaal Sustainable Solutions Pvt Ltd, Uripok, an approved dealer of Solar Home Lighting System of the MNRE, said a statement.

Representatives of State Bank of India, United Bank of India, Manipur Rural Bank, Punjab National Bank, Vijaya Bank, Central Bank of India, and Manipur State Cooperative Bank attended the workshop.
