Imphal, January 14 2013: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Manipur Pradesh has congratulated Maj Gen LN Singh, on being promoted from Brigadier to Major General of the Indian Army recently.

A congratulatory message from the State unit BJP signed by its president Th Chaoba pointed out that Maj Gen LN Singh got promotion within a few years' span by adding the ingredients of consistency, integrity, hard work, intelligence and motivation.

The party also expressed pride that Maj Gen LN Singh is the second Manipuri to be promoted to Maj Gen while anticipating dedicated service from the General in future in the interest of the Nation.
