Imphal, December 07 2014: The 5th Manipur Catholic Youth Convention, 2014 will be held from December 17 to 20 under the aegis of Manipur Catholic Youth Organisation at Christ Jyoti School, Mantripukhri under the theme 'Rooted in Christ', a statement issued by the central organising committee informed.

With about 2000 participants from 44 parishes and 5 mission centres from various parts of Manipur, the youth convention aims to bring different ethnic groups together.

The Central Organising Committee of the 5th Youth Convention has earnestly appealed to all civil organisations and masses to refrain from imposing any kind of bandh, blockade or strike during the convention.
