SLUCO issues advisory to schools

Imphal, April 16 2015 : Singjamei to Lilong United Club's Organization (SLUCO) has urged all schools of the area (Singjamei to Lilong) to inform the organization about any untoward developments which could disturb educational environment.

The announcement was made considering the tussles between catholic schools and some groups, due to which regular classes are suspended for a long period of time.

Condemning the victimization of students it said classes are not suspended at places anywhere in the world where there are such interferences.

A press release issued by SLUCO General Secretary, K Santosh Luwang, further claims that schools of the area which fail to respond to the advisory issued by SLUCO's appeal will be responsible for their own acts in future.
