Imphal, August 31 2016: A one day political awareness was organised yesterday at Jessami village community hall by Jessami Village Council, reports our corre- spondent.

Jessami Village Council (JVC) chairman Nezote said that the objective of holding the one day political awareness camp is to draw the attention of Jessami villagers to support the rightful candidate in the upcoming State Assembly election 2017. Intending BJP candidate Sword Vashum highlighted why he is contesting in the upcoming State election.

"Let us vote to bring a change for our better future.

Our society needs to be re- formed in order to bring social changes.

People do not trust Ibobi led Congress Gov- ernment anymore," he said.

Sword also declared that he will be con- testing from 45-Chingai Assembly Constituency in BJP ticket.

A public interac- tion was later held at Nungbi Khullen village.
