UCM oppose ILP bill

Imphal, March 17 2015: United Committee Manipur (UCM) opposed the 'Manipur Regulation of Visitors, Tenants, and Migrant Workers Bill 2015' which was passed sidelining the demands of JCILPS and also condemned the CM's statements of amending the Bill in future.

Adding on, UCM said that passing of bill sidelining the existing demands of the people is an act of irresponsibility and a step to please the Central Government, said a press release by UCM Secretary, Ng Deba Meitei.

Further, sensing the dissatisfaction among the people, UCM warned that the CM will be responsible for any unwanted incidents and agitations in future and extended its support in all decisions of JCILPS.
