Aimol Khunjai village clarifies

Imphal, March 04 2016 : The village authority of Aimol Khunjai has issued a statement rubbishing the allegations levelled by Molnom villagers against certain individuals and Aimol Satu village in the aftermath of the killing of Thongkhogin Haokip of Molnom village, Chandel district. The village authority, in the statement, has clarified that the involvement of one Gronthang, s/o Korsokhup of Aimol Khunjai village as alleged by Molnom villagers is false and unfounded.

It also added that, Gronthang who works in a brick firm is not involved in the unfortunate incident.

He was attending Church service when the incident happened at the outskirts of Aimol Satu village, it added.
