Teacher body urges students to withdraw class boycott agitation

Imphal, September 15 2015: Biramangol Teacher's Association has appealed to the students union of Biramangol College, Sawombung to withdraw their decision to boycott classes.

Association president Th Ebemu said that the students of the college have been demanding the Government to fill up the post of regular Principal and other vacant post of teachers.

Had the Education (U) and authorities fulfilled their demands, the students would not have taken the boycott agitation, said Ebemu.

She appealed to the authorities to immediately look into the matter.

Ebemu further said that the teachers have decided to resume regular classes from September 15, Tuesday and urged all students to attend the classes.
