Imphal, May 02 2016: Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal has released the list of nominees for the 2016 Manipur Sahitya award.

Some of the nominated writers are Waikhomcha Ibotombi Mangang for his novel Bamon Ibemma Ayingbi , Ningombam Sanatombi for the short story Ukugi Yumna Ngaihouri and Kshetri Bir for his novel Ningthigi Ningthem.

The award comprises of cash reward of Rs 10,000, a citation and a stole.

The award will be distributed on May 22 in a function to be held at MMRC Unity Park, Khangabok, a statement informed.
