Jiribam (Imphal-East), February 01 2016: All Jiribam Working Journalists' Union (AJWJU), Jiribam and Jiri News Network (JNN), Jiribam felicitated Baba Saheb Dr Ambedkar National Fellowship 2015 awardee Seram Herojit and Moirangthem Romeo in a function held at JNN office today, our correspondent reports.

Ngathem Biswajit Singh, M Harikumar Singh, Sarat Kumar Thokchom, F Ahmed and GC Mishra were the presidium members of the function.

JNN president Sarat Kumar Thokchom and AJWJU president Ngathem Bishwajit handed over simple gifts to Herojit and Romeo as a form of encouragement.

AAMSU president and Manipur Chronicle publisher Seram Herojit and AJWJU general secretary and JNN general secretary Moirangthem Romeo were awarded the Baba Saheb Dr Ambedkar National Fellowship 2015 Award at the 31st National Conference of Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Akademi held on December 12 and 13 at New Delhi.
