Imphal, April 17 2016: The District Health Mission Society DMMU, Tamenglong, in collaboration with Rotary Club of Polo City, Imphal conducted a one day free medical camp on 'Health' at Berean Academy, Khumji (Lukhambi) Part II, Tamenglong, on April 16, our correspondent reports The camp was formally opened by Janghemlung Panmei, MLA, 53 A/C Tamenglong.

About 800 patients were pro- vided free treatment, medicines and other facilities like clinical laboratory investiga- tion, X-ray and ultrasound examination at the camp.

An awareness on PNDT Act was also held during the camp under the aegis of Agape Foundation.

As many as 12 doctors led by Dr N Jitendra, Associate Prof (Sur- gery), JNIMS and medical officers attended the camp.
