IMC disposes of unclaimed body

Imphal, July 05 2015 : A male body was disposed of on Sunday by Imphal Municipality as nobody came to claim it within five days.

The unidentified body was found at Lamdeng Thongkhong under Porompat Police Station on July 1. On the other hand, a female body is still lying unclaimed at the RIMS Morgue.

The corpse was found at Shamushang Shantipur near Waishel Marin under Wangoi Police Station on July 2.Officials informed that the body will be disposed of on Monday with authorization from the District Magistrate.
