Imphal, February 01 2016: Digitization of data and information for implementation of National Food Security Act in Manipur has been completed by 90 per cent and due preparations have been started to implement the Act from the month of April.

Chief Secretary O Nabakishore held a review meeting with Principal Secretary (CAF&PD) MH Khan and Deputy Com- missioners at the Old Secretariat conference hall this morning about the progress of the digitization work.

It was that digitization of information and data for benefi- ciaries would be completed by February.

It is said that the digitized information and data would be linked with Aadhar numbers, informed an official source.
