Tamenglong, November 04 2015: The SK Thadou Group of the United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA) observed its 6th reformation day cum cultural festival at its designated camp located at Leisangphai, Muktokhal under Tousem Sub-Division, reports our correspondent.

The programme was attended by Hemkhojang Lenthang, chief of Tatbung village, Major Anandraj, 27 Assam Rifles, Angam, social worker, Kimneikhol Khongsai, president, BJP Mahilla Morcha Women Wing, Jangsat Haokip, president KIJT and J Thangboi, general secretary, KSO, Jiri and Tamenglong.

Speaking at the programme, the chairman of UTLA, SK Thadou appealed to all the people to extend co-operation in maintaining peace and tranquillity in the State.

He also expressed hope to declare areas dominated by UTLA/UTLF as peace zones.

Tributes to the departed souls of the outfit were also paid.
