Imphal, January 31 2014 : A farmers' training programme on Integrated Pest Management and Integrated Nutrient Management of Rabi crops 2013-14 was held today at Emisiiphro village under Willong block in Senapati district under the auspices of Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Senapati.

Project Director of ATMA Senapati, Yumnam Ranjit; Emesiiphro village chairman, N Lohrii; SDAO of Saikul Th Joykumar; Dy PD of ATMA Senapati A Sanatombi and Dy Director RK Biren attended the programme as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

Around 70 farmers from Mao, Taphou, Rikhumai, Taphou Matanmai and Japhou Liangmai participated in the training programme.

The resource persons were Dr Kh Nimaichand of Plant Health Clinic of Agriculture dept and Block Technology Manager, Rima Devi Hemam.
