Imphal, May 23 2016: The president of Rongmei Lu Phuam (As- sam, Manipur and Nagaland) has warned parents and guardians whose wards are working in Spa industry in cosmopolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Goa etc to be wary of unscrupulous elements/agents who lure pretty looking girls to join any training or trade related to Spa and then fall prey to flesh trade.

In a statement, RLP said that its leader met Robin Hibu, IPS, JCP of Delhi Police during a month-long stay in Delhi and discussed the problems faced by young innocent NE girls.

The statement further stated that it is an alarming situation, which needs a serious thought and handled urgently before things get out of hand in order to prevent girls of North East from being exploited in the guise of working in Spa.
