Village chief appeals

Tamenglong, January 16 2018:
The Chief of Kaimai village, Tamenglong district has urged the authority concerned not to shift the 23 Assam Rifles post stationed at Kaimai, considering the welfare of the locals.
A press release issued by the chief has stated that the 23 AR has been stationed at Kaimai village for many years and alleged that some unwanted elements has exhorted the shifting of the AR from the present post.
He stated that the AR personnel have been protecting and serving the locals for many years while expressing gratitude towards the Post Commandant Kaimai Post for organising a joyful advance Christmas 2017 for the locals.
