Imphal, March 04 2016 : One live Tokey Gecko (approximately 14 inch in length) was recov- ered by troops of the 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Ri- fles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) from the general area of Khudengthabi of Chandel district yesterday. At around 6 am, during area patrolling, the personnel of the Assam Rifles found one suspicious bamboo log lying on the road side to- wards Moreh and on checking the suspicious bam- boo, one live Tokey Gecko was found inside the bamboo. The recovered Tokey Gecko has been handed over to the Forest & Wildlife Depart- ment, Imphal, informed a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S) .
