Imphal, January 25 2018: On behalf of the government of Nagaland, I extend warm greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of the 69th Republic Day of the country.

On this day, India became independent republic country and the Constitution of India came into effect with the declaration that India is sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, assuring its citizens of justice, equality and liberty, and endeavors to promote fraternity among them.

Let us also specially remember the sacrifices and contributions of our founding fathers and great leaders of the country.

My best wishes to all.

May the Republic Day celebration bring happiness, peace and prosperity to every household.
