Imphal, October 31 2015 : A team of officials led by N Hauzel, Chief Manager, SBI Lead Bank inspected the lemon grass cultivation under Make in Manipur mission atop Yairipok Top Chingtha Hanuching Hanurok Tokpa ching.

The officials were visibly impressed with the project.

Technical Officer of Horticulture Dept, N Devchandra, Professor in-charge of Library, Documentation and Information, CAU, O Nirmalkumar, Technical Consultant of Dept of Commerce and Industries, Prof AK Mudgal, Director of Aromatic and Medicinal Development Centre, Shyam and other officials were part of the inspection team.

CM O Ibobi will formally launch the Make in Manipur mission on the first day of this year's Sangai Festival.

The lemon grass plantation is taken up under the State Commerce and Industries Dept atop Tokpa hill ahead of the official launch of the mission.

Lemon grass plantation is taken out in 210 acres of land atop Tokpa hill.
