School authorities extend aid, assure free education to student

Imphal, December 27 2019: Authorities of CT Higher Secondary School have assured free education to one Takhellambam Rohenson, s/o T Mukharjit of Maibam Konjil, Mayang Imphal at the said school till class XII.

This assurance was made when the school authorities along with the ward member concerned went to extend assistance to Takhellambam Mukharjit's family, which belongs to the underprivileged section.

Speaking to media persons at the spot, Assistant teacher of CT Higher Secondary School Thangjam Chingtamkhonba Meitei said that school authorities including the founder visited Mukharjit's residence on December 25.Following this visit, the authorities decided to extend necessary assistance to the family including free education to Mukharjit's son, Rohenson till class XII at the school, considering the deprived condition of the family.

Maintaining that the school has been established for the needy and the deprived children, Chingtamkhonba continued that CT Higher Secondary School has extended the assistance of free education to other deprived children before.

He further assured that the school will continue to render such aid in the future as well while seeking attention of the State Government on such matters.

Takhellambam Mukharjit expressed gratitude to the school authorities for their noble and humanitarian gesture while appealing the State Government to provide necessary initiatives to his deprived family.
