Weapon display by Army for school children

Imphal, January 25 2018: In order to increase awareness of the students about the avenues to join the Defence Forces, of 5 JAK RIF of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under aegis the of IGAR (South), organised a weapon display and motivation lecture as part of upcoming Republic Day at Bhaktivedanta Institute Mission Higher Secondary School, Sangaiprou, Imphal East district.

Approximately 300 students and 20 teachers of the school visited the stands put up during weapon and equipment display.

The students were also made aware about the avenues and procedures to join the Indian Army.

The display was warmly welcomed by the conducting staff and students of Bhaktivedanta Institute Mission Higher Secondary School, Sangaiprou.

The Army was highly appreciated for guiding the youth of Manipur.
