Tamenglong, December 09 2014:
The newly elected president of the United Naga Council (UNC), Gaidon Kamei, said that UNC is not against the Orange Festival or any grower.
But Naga people are strongly condemning the anti- Naga communal government of Manipur.
Naga will never compromise under any circumstance.

He said that the Nagas have been struggling for 60 years for final solution that is honourable to both Naga and government of India.
However, the chief minister of Manipur O.Ibobi Singh and his council of ministers are trying to hijack the peaceful solution by creating law and order problems in the Naga-inhabited Naga areas where there is complete ceasefire and peaceful.
Explaining why the United Naga Council boycotted the Festival, Gaidon said that communal government of Manipur is trying to provoke the situation.
O Ibobi Singh has been opposing the ceasefire by saying that there is no ceasefire", Gaidon Kamei alleged.
On the other hand, Ibobi Singh has been appealing to the people on every occasion for peaceful solution to problems of all the underground organisations.
Adding that the government of India is determined to bring peaceful and lasting solution to the Naga problem, he is opposing tooth and nail, and trying to survive the issue.
"For these issues the UNC is opposing the anti-Naga communal government of Manipur in Naga areas.
Our stand is very clear, whatever is the matter and come what may, we will try to bring final solution/settlement.
We have maximum confidence in the leadership of Narendra Modiji, we believe and trust his leadership and new government.
We will never compromise in any circumstances", Gaidon Kamei said.
