The NSCN-Reformation (NSCN-R) has condemned the brutal killing of its cadre Ningailung by the security forces who was waylaid while he was looking for the other cadre who did not return the previous night.
Crpl.
Ningailung was a cadre of NSCN-R and not NSCN-K as claimed by security forces.
The security forces killed Crpl.
Ningailung knowing that he was a member of the NSCN-R search party and his weapon HK-33 was seized.
After the Chandel ambush where the Indian army lost 18 (eighteen) jawans, many Indian leaders and Generals condemned it as an act of cowardice but the killing of Naga army who is in ceasefire with the GOI is also not an act of bravery either, said a press release issued by the outfit's secretary, ministry of information and publicity.
The attack on the Naga Army by the security forces is not a new thing.
Earlier they took one NSCN-R kilonser, Willingbou Zeliang and three others in their custody for almost four days and three nights.
It is a clear indication that the Security forces are venting their anger on the NSCN-R after they lost some of their jawans in ambushes by NSCN (K) .
For the Indian security forces it does not matter whether it is NSCN (K), NSCN (IM) or NSCN (R).
For them it is India versus Naga, therefore, any Naga army of any of the faction is an enemy for them and they have little or no respect for the ceasefire agreement signed by the representatives of GOI and the NSCN.
"The NSCN-R will not remain a sitting duck but if at all need arises, we are prepared to explore all opportunity at hand", it said.
It further demanded the GOI to make their position clear whether they have given a free hand to their army to go after NSCN-R.If it is so, they must issue a public statement and so that the room for doubts does not exist in future and in case of any misunderstanding the NSCN shouldn't be held responsible,
it added.
