Imphal, June 30 2021:
The State Government has hinted at giving priorities to vaccinated persons as it looks to ease restrictions placed in the wake of the second wave of the pandemic after two months.
Although no date has been clearly mentioned from when restrictions would be eased, a notification by the Special Secretary Home indicated that the State Government will be relaxing the curfew/containment zone orders in the near future in a calibrated manner by assessing the Covid infection scenario.
As per the notification, opening of institutions, organisations, factories, shops, markets, private offices etc where its employees are Covid vaccinated, has been prioritized and the same will also be applied to NREGA job card holders and workers of Government/private projects.
The Govt also urged all to get vaccinated at the earliest at vaccination centres opened across the State.
The Special Secretary also maintained that the State Government would be ready to arrange special vaccine sessions if the number of beneficiaries is 150 or more.
Any organisation or group may contact DC concerned or the State Mission Director, NHM (9436206298) for organising such a session.
